Fallen Butterfly breaks free from traditional theatre, exploring the balance of urban and suburban development in Hong Kong through environmental dance, photography, and video workshops. Participants reimagined the city’s pulse, contributing to an outdoor exhibition installation. A one-hour dance piece toured four diverse public spaces, engaging over 14,000 people. From bustling cityscapes to serene suburbs, it probes the dialogue between stress and freedom, sparking reflection on urban life. Widely praised, it showcases Siu Lung Fung Dance Theater’s inclusive and innovative spirit.
