ABOUT THE COMPANY 

Founded in 2012 by Cyrus Hui and Sylvia Lee, Siu Lung Fung Dance Theater is a leading Hong Kong contemporary dance company dedicated to exploring interpersonal tension, identity, and social issues through dance theatre. We blend cross-media and cross-cultural elements to transcend traditional stage boundaries, creating profound works such as Run (winner of the 2024 Hong Kong Dance Award for Outstanding Small Venue Production), In-between Love (2018), and OverLab (2022).

Through collaborations with musicians, visual designers, and dramaturgs, we craft interdisciplinary stages that guide audiences into worlds of thought and emotion. Rooted in Hong Kong, we actively engage with the Asian Dance Network, collaborating with artists across Asia to elevate Hong Kong contemporary dance globally. The company also champions inclusive education, working with special needs communities and seniors through workshops to explore the possibilities of movement.
